Dans le but de vous simplifier la vie, la gestion du consentement parental pour l’utilisation et la publication des renseignements personnels et multimédias des élèves se fait maintenant dans le portail des parents : https://parents.cepeo.on.ca

Pour donner ou retirer votre consentement, veuillez vous connecter au portail des parents et suivre les étapes suivantes :

  1. Cliquez sur Gestion de mon compte
  2. Cliquez sur le bouton radio Autorisation d’utiliser des renseignements multimédias des élèves
  3. Lire le texte Autorisation d’utiliser des renseignements personnels des élèves
  4. Pour chaque enfant, cliquez sur les boutons Autoriser ou Retirer autorisation
  5. Cliquez sur Sauvegarder

Authorization to use students’ personal information

Information identifying my physical person (for the adult student) or the physical person of your child (for the minor student) such as his/her photograph, audio and audiovisual recordings, drawings of his/her person and signed achievements of his/her name are collected under the Education Act and are considered personal information under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

In particular with the aim of:

  • highlighting student achievements and initiatives of CEPEO schools and communities;
  • promoting quality education in French-language public schools;
  • contributing to the promotion and preservation of the French language in Ontario;

Le Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario (CEPEO), or a third party authorized by it, may decide to publish, broadcast or disclose, for promotional, journalistic or educational purposes, and not for profit, information to identify my physical person (for the adult student) or the physical person of your child (for the minor student):

  • in classrooms, hallways, fairs and competitions, events, inside or outside the school;
  • in class photos given to parents of other students, frames and graduation books;
  • in publications, advertisements on different media, newspapers or magazines;
  • in audio and audiovisual productions and advertisements;
  • in news programs or journalistic, public affairs or entertainment productions;
  • during presentations;
  • on the CEPEO intranet;
  • on the Internet (such as Council or school websites or on social media, but not limiting);
  • or in any other production created for or by the CEPEO.

This authorization will remain in effect unless we receive a written notice to that effect from you.
